Evil plots and magic spells, Merlin the wise old magician, Morgan le Fay the wicked enchantress, a hideous ogre, a poisoned apple, a beautiful cloak that burns to death whoever puts it on. Nobility, chivalry and goodness of character in conflict with jealousy, ambition and revenge – the never-ending struggle between good and evil.
